A new research project is underway to determine how to reduce emissions and inefficiency, via computerized scheduling of airplane takeoffs, landings, gate assignments, and baggage handling. By implementing an analysis search engine, the hope is that will will reduce inefficiencies in scheduling processes, thus reducing wastes of fuel and time.
